With another year just about at an end and the start of one around the corner you need to ask yourself;
“have I reached all my personal goals along the way or am I left with the lingering feeling that I left the best inside of me?”
It’s amazing how much crap we tend to flood our minds with and allow it to stay there year after year, festering, crippling and tainting every personal goal we set out to do. Many people tend to have minds that look more like a landfill, full of clutter causing them to have extremely unproductive thoughts and negative feelings.
Maybe it’s having a negative image of “you” because of a failed relationship, negative comments by friends, coworkers or family members. Somehow we feed ourselves messages accept them as truth because society deemed it so. All of this rubbish continues to decay our life and performance unless we clear it out frequently.
Take some time to think about the types of thoughts and beliefs you hold about yourself and your life. Maybe you have a belief that…
… I will always struggle financially.
… I will never find myself in a good relationship.
… I will always be passed over for promotions.
Maybe somewhere inside you are still operating under your father’s claims that you’ll never amount to anything. Are you still hearing the voice of your fourth grade teacher who said you wouldn’t go far in life because of your lack of ability to pay attention in class and follow through?
Make a list of all the beliefs and limitations that others have placed on you and you somehow have accepted them as truth. Then make a list of the limitations that you have placed on yourself. Come now, you know the ones that claim you can’t do this, or that, or such-and-such because you’re just not good at it, smart enough, important enough. The things you’ve tried but had little or no success at it the first time around, so now you believe you’ll never be successful at it. When you’ve written down everything you can think of – read the list over once more, and then BURN it.
Everything that you wrote on that list was simply an inaccurate perception, whether yours or someone else’s. Perceptions are bendable and subject to change based on your own desire to believe them or not. You and you alone have the ability to turn them into fact.
You have now created a clean slate to write out your own empowering perceptions to carry you through the New Year. You can start by writing the opposite of the beliefs you just burned, or you can simply come up with new ones that will have you creating and manifesting an amazing year.
What truths do you want to apply to your life?
That you’re wealthy?
That you’re a money magnet?
That you’re confident and successful?
That you’re eager to try new things?
Whatever it is that you want to do in life right now is your time, this is your year and today is your day. Add it to your list and then take action towards it! There is no thinking about it or waiting for everything to be just right, just take action and move towards it.
Once in a while, repeat this clearing-out exercise to be sure you’re not reestablishing these restrictive messages and beliefs again. Your personal development and personal goals will not be reached by random acts of development, but rather consistent personal development steps daily. Remembering to keep your mind focused on the things that are most important to you will quickly have you attracting those things into your life consistently.

nice post. thanks.
The writer of ashleybolivar.com has written a superior article. I got your point and there is nothing to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not disagree with: Nothing is ever as simple as it first appears I will be back.
