No matter what business you are in this is outstanding advice. It is all of the little things that you can do every day that may not seem like a lot on their own, but compounded can exert a lot of influence.

For example I am in the water damage restoration business, and today I was on the phone with a client that I couldn't help. But I still took a moment to introduce him with a company that actually could help him out. At the end of the conversation the man thanked me for the suggestions even though I knew I wasn't getting the business. I told him I believe that it all will come back to me.

It felt good.
