Positive thinking improves health


You often hear people say that it’s important to stay positive . But most of them don’t really explain what being positive is all about, or how positive thinking, a positive attitude and staying positive will help you or improve your life.

Bill Hilsheimer is a perfect example of how the power of positive thinking can lead to a belief that you can achieve anything – no matter what cards you’ve been dealt . his positive beliefs helped him attain such an awesome feat.

Here’s why his story is so inspiring . The odds of an amateur golf player hitting one hole in one – (that’s when you take a swing at the ball from the start of the hole and it lands in the cup) are 12,600 to one. Bill did it three times in 6 months – he only plays performing with his left hand – he lost his right hand when he was 9. That’s amazing and inspiring.

It’s more than just having a positive attitude and generating internal positive energy. It’s about having a positive mind-set.
So what makes Bill so different and special?

It’s his positive attitude and his positive belief system. Here’s the one thing that Bill said that really stuck out: “No one ever told me that I couldn’t do it”. – You see Bill always believed anything was possible because no one ever told him otherwise.

Unfortunately not all of us were brought up that way . Many of us have been bombarded with damaging statements. We have friends, family, acquaintances, teachers, coaches who sometimes tell us what we can’t do – and we believe them because we trust them. They’re not helping you generate a positive attitude.

Take a look at Bill – that’s what happens when you believe you can do anything .

So how do you create a positive attitude so that you have a positive belief system that allows you to achieve your goals ?
It’s simple. You start re-programming your mind to send the right messages to your subconscious mind. Begin by noting all the negative thoughts that you have – then see if this is what you truly believe .

Then change the negative thoughts to positive thoughts . When you do this you begin to form a positive attitude, develop positive habits, create positive energy and have a positive belief system .

As soon as that happens you begin to attract positive situations into your life and you start having more success.
Don’t believe the odds are against you.

Believe in yourself.
Believe in your power.

Create a positive mindset and begin developing a positive attitude by changing your focus and removing those negative thoughts as often as you can… once you do you’ll begin to have more and more success in every area of your life.

    This is really true, I can still remember in my psychology classes that the unconscious mind is so powerful and mysterious that it can really make things happen. It appears to me that those frequent negative thinkers drains out a lot of energy because of “worrying” effect which stress them out a lot. The unconscious mind is conditioning the body to release more energy than it used to be resulting to anxiety.

    This stress is responsible for body functions deterioration and it might also explain why frequent negative thinkers age faster and looks old. One way to cure is to start thinking positively and handle failures positively. In this way, this is really no need to worry and this stress free environment promotes good health.
