Does your mlm companies compensation pay part-timers or is it a scam?

by Ashley Bolivar on April 11, 2009

This one is going to cut right to the heart for some individuals. I may possibly offend you if your with the wrong mlm, network marketing company.

But as I have said from the beginning, I won’t hold anything back in an effort to help you in choosing the right mlm organization.

That’s what mlm training is all about, educating and empowering people with the right tools to make sound decisions in network marketing.

empowering mlm training

We have covered alot of information so far in this series called the “5 key components”. If you are just joining me, I invite you to get caught up on the other 4 previous parts as each one builds on the other.

So let’s get to it.

Let me ask you a question. How many people do you think quit their job the day after they start their mlm business?

Less than 1%. Those that do, usually have a large amount of reserves or another source of income to offset the time that it will take them to grow their down-line. Sometimes even both.

Why did I ask that?

Well, since over 95% of all network marketers build their business on a part time basis, why is it that most mlm compensation plans are not set up to pay the part time network marketer?

It’s true.

Here’s the deal. Since most people are building their business by investing anywhere from 4-10 hours per week, shouldn’t they be able to see some kind of results in a relatively short amount of time as long as they are taking the correct action steps?

A person who is building their business and working a those hours each week should be able to make a pretty decent income.

Let me give you a straight forward test that you can take to see if your mlm companies compensation plan is set up to pay the part timer.

Just ask yourself this question.

How many people will it take in order for me to earn $500.00 dollars in true residual, recurring income month after month?

I am not talking about fast-start money, bonus money, top recruiter bonus… nothing else but residual, recurring income. What I like to call “mail box money” . This is what an mlm business is all about.

Creating a constant flow of mail box money that keeps coming in regardless of how many people you recruited last week or last month.

So back to our example of earning $500.00 per month. I have seen companies require as many as 500 people in your down-line. Yes, you read that correct 500 people to earn 500 dollars. That equals $1 per person.

Huh?

Does that not strike you as a bit crazy?

Does that sound like a company that pays the part time network marketer?

Now, I have also seen it take as little as 20 people with other companies.

That’s more like it.

Part time network marketer + check = happy business builder.

Are you getting all of this? Forget all the hype, all the fancy videos that the company puts out and all the so called millionaires that the company claims to have made.

As I said in my last post. Do the research and find out the truth.

Tomorrow we will dive deeper into compensation plans and I will start to expose a few moving levers that many companies don’t want you to know about.

Hey Ashley,

Great post my friend! Why would anyone want to work 100 times harder for the same outcome? I would much rather know I can receive 10k for 400 users/distributors vice $400. No brainer for this! Looking forward to your continuation.

Friends 4 Life!
Eddie
