So choosing an mlm company and the timing of it is right where we left off yesterday so let’s jump right into it from there.
You see, choosing the right network marketing business can happen several different ways. One, you can hope that you get lucky and fall into the right situation.
However, I am willing to bet that more times than not, you will end up falling into the side that we have heard so much about.
The infamous network marketing, money sucking black hole that leaves you speechless wondering what happened to all your dreams. Even if you went and saw a fortune teller down the road and she told you that, “You are destined for success in network marketing”, she still would not know which company would be best.
The second way you can use in choosing an MLM company is to put your professors hat on and find out who has been around the longest, has a proven track record and has a huge corporate office with lots and lots of employees.
Third, you could make sure that the company has been around for the very least two years, preferably three. Also, are the companies products timed with the beginning trends of a massive consumer demand?
So which one of those three options makes the most sense to you?
I will give you a hint. Dinosaurs are extinct and so is the momentum wave in option two and the first option. Well I think that is pretty obvious that leaving things to chance is a horrible idea. That’s why the state of the economy is the way that it is.
Drum roll please…
You guessed it correctly, it’s option three. We have a winner!
Why a minimum of two to three years you ask?
Well the fact is that most all companies fail within two years, just about 99% of them. Let that really sink in for a moment… 99% of ALL companies fail in the first two years.
So picture this, you have busted your back for two years building a brand new business, for a brand new company that one day just closes it’s doors and the only notice you get is a letter in the mail or an email.
On top of that, your check that you had been receiving and worked so hard for is now gone, poof, no more. This happens all to often in this industry to too many good people.
Now what?
You get to start it all over again. What, your not excited about that?
That is why that benchmark of two to three is critical to your well being in network marketing.
But.. But… But…
Everyone is rushing in to get in at the “ground floor”. That does not matter. If it’s a good opportunity then it will be an even better opportunity in two years.
Picture yourself in a circle pool, you’re standing there, then you decide that to start running in a counter clockwise direction. You run and you run, you continue to do this for about twenty minutes or so. Now you allow your body to be carried by the current.
You are now floating, being carried by the momentum of all the effort that you just put out. The momentum is so strong that even if you tried to go in the opposite direction the force of the momentum would make it near impossible for you to do so.
That my friends is the true power of network marketing. Learn from the footprints that success leaves behind and give yourself the fighting chance at owning your life and living your dreams. Make sure you ride the right wave at the right time.
In my next post we will cover the next step in choosing an MLM company. I gave you a hint in this article. Go back and read option “three” above for the clue.

Hi Ashley
I loved your blog and your are so right with what you wrote.
Wishing you success.
Guys this E-book will change the way you do business forever. It will prove to you that your lack of success in the Network Marketing industry is NOT your FAULT.
You’re absolutely right Ashley! I didn’t have the problem of the company closing its doors, but the ones that were new didn’t have enough sales aids to work with or an upline to help me pick up that 200lb phone! LOL As the famous Kevin Trudeau once said, “pioneering doesn’t pay” and he’s so right. It’s fun to create things (ads, postcards, biz cards)…..but not when they don’t work! Your e-book is a great find and is a MUST for everyone to read.
