Successful network marketing comes with no assurance of growth, financial success, or even that you will ever live the life that you dream about.
So why is it that so many people start into this industry expecting some kind of guarantee?
I have found that time and time again people look to me for some kind of assurance that they will have the success that they have always wanted.
Can anyone really ever give another person the assurance that they will be successful?
At least in good conscience I don’t think anyone can or should. There are just too many factors that come in to place. Probably the biggest one is the individual person themselves.
Let’s face facts, there are too many people that start off into this industry expecting to have things handed to them, or the person that showed them the business opportunity told them that most of the work was already done for them.
Almost like a sense of entitlement, people start off with their heads held high ready to beat their drum of success. Then once they receive their box of products, distributor kit and websites, they get upset that the million dollars did not make it to them upon delivery.
Moment of Truth – #2
“Assurance”
“You mean there is work involved?”
Yep
“Will I need to meet new people online or in person?”
Yep
“Will I have to get on the phone in order to build my business?”
Yep
The only assurance that anyone can give is the simple fact that you will get out of your business what you put into it. That is what network marketing is all about. Doing a few simple and easy to follow tasks daily in order to own your life in a short period of time.
But you have to be willing to put in the effort to have the life that you have always dreamed of. No one, I mean no one is ever hand a business over to you that requires you to do nothing.
I don’t care what you read in the email that you received, you will need to invest you time and effort into your business to build it.
Ask yourself this question.
“If the company does everything for me and all I need to do is collect the check, then why do they need me?”
Did the light bulb go on?
Here is what I am willing to do for you. I will give you the the assurance that you are looking for. Go and stand in front of the mirror and tell yourself all the reasons why your dreams are not important enough to go after. Give yourself all the excuses that you would normally make. The whole time that you do this, keep total eye contact with yourself.
After you’re done, and feel ready to quit and decide that you want to stay stuck in the life that you have now. Then be comfortable with your decision and never look at another business opportunity again.
However, If deep inside, you know that you want more, you deserve more, you family deserves more. Then grab your saddle and start riding.
Yes the road will be challenging at times you may even question yourself again but always remember that you have 100% personal assurance from yourself that no matter what, you will keep pushing on.

Definitely hits home. There's no free lunch anywhere, you don't just get stuff for free just by existing. People who expect that out of any company…well…they're not going anywhere. It's all about self-motivation and personal initiative: there's a reason they say fortune favors the bold.
