Successful Network Marketing Moments of Truth – #3 Temptation

To be successful in network marketing, you need to fight through and fend off many obstacles. One of the largest hurdles that you will have to overcome is temptation. But do you know why this is by far is your biggest nemesis?

It’s the “silent assassin”.

Quietly and without mercy it stalks you around every corner, ever intersection and every chance that it has. Temptation has no boundaries, it will not tire, it requires no sleep and never needs to eat. Temptation has a way of recruiting anyone and everyone it can in order to snatch your life, your dreams away from you.

Moment Of truth – #3 – “Temptation”

You don’t have to look too far to see signs of where temptation has been and as subtle as it creeps into your life, you can surly see it peek it’s head up from time to time.

Just think back to when you first got started in to this business. You may have had a friend tell you, “That will never work.”

Maybe you were sharing with co-worker about you business opportunity and had another co-worker snicker at you and the idea.

Maybe you have countless people try and recruit you into opportunity after opportunity. Each one promising to be the next “best mlm home based business opportunity” and sounding better and better, each time leaving you thinking and even contemplating if you are doing the right thing.

So what do you do now?

How can you insulate yourself from the constant relentless onslaught from temptation?

What is it that you can do to arm yourself against this dream killing, silent assassin?

Let me give you a three step process to follow that if you stay true to it, you will be able to insulate yourself from most of the ongoing attacks.

1. Investigate - Do your due diligence before starting off into any business. This may sound pretty basic, but often it is the most overlooked step of the process. Get past all the smoke and mirrors.

You will want to read through any distributor’s contract and/or policies and procedures to see how you are protected and to find any loopholes that may be in place to work against you.

2. Time Investment - Now you want to make sure that you set aside a specific amount of time each week to work on your business. Remember, this is not a hobby, these are your dreams on the line and no one is going to hand them over to you without some effort on your part.

Once you decide on the set amount of time, let no one or anything distract you from it. Remember temptation will show up in all forms. You need to be willing to sacrifice some of your free time now so you can own your life.

3. Proven System - Work a proven system of duplication so you can have the best possible chances at success in network marketing. If you are not sure if the company you are looking at starting with has a true system of duplication, ask them what their system is and for some names and numbers of people who are using it.

Remember this industry is founded on duplication, so it better be easy for someone else to do it. when someone is showing you a business opportunity, just ask yourself this.

“Can I do what they are doing and can I show someone else how to do it?”

Buying leads, hotel opportunity meetings, making a list of friends and family is not a system. So don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. If you follow these three steps you are well on your way being successful in network marketing and fighting of temptation.
