Home business network marketing will challenge you in order to become successful in network marketing. All too often I have found that people are so mislead and filled with excessive false hopes and promises about what is possible in this industry.
Now, I am not here to say that success is not possible, or that people are not capable in creating the life that they have always desired. However, I do believe that individuals are often painted such an image about the “lifestyle” that is possible in this industry and how their success will happen overnight.
Especially now, in this economic debacle that we, as a society have had to deal with. Unemployment is on a continual rise, companies are reducing their benefits and cutting back any where that they can. More and more people are turning to the power of the internet and home based business opportunities in hopes of creating an additional income stream to help support their families.
Moment Of Truth – # 4 – Trials
I remember watching a movie called “Fun With Dick and Jane”, staring Jim Carrey and Tea Leoni. I recommend watching it for a good laugh. Anyway it’s about the impact that corporate fraud has on the families that work for the companies that get caught or close their doors for good.
How from the trials that people are faced with, the unmovable mountains that they face and how drives them to desperate measures and deceitful acts while leaving a wake of destruction behind them. Why should any of this matter to you?
You may have the job security that many out in the world can only wish they had. Yet you are looking for an additional stream of income. However, it’s the person that you are talking to that you need to be mindful of. You have no idea the trials that they are facing in their life.
If you personally are going through your forest filled with its own trials and obstacles. Slow down a bit, and take inventory of where you are. This will give you a basis on what it is that you need to be doing in order to find success in any home based business opportunity.
Make sure that your decisions are based on facts and logic and not the emotional roller coaster of hopes and dreams. Dreaming of the life that you desire is fine, just don’t find yourself caught up in the excitement of the dream as you pull out your credit card.
We all have our own Dick and Jane’s out in the world that are just trying to do everything that they can to get by. Some may not even realize the impact that they are having on the world around them. Your job is to look past the glamour and glitter to make sure that you are getting started with the right company.
Just remember that once you pull the trigger and start your home based network marketing business, you will find yourself faced with you own set of trials and it’s up to you to stay focused on your goals and dreams to reach them.
1) Take an extra day to decide. The old saying; “I need to sleep on it”, is one that will save you from an incredible financial headache.
2) Don’t get started with at an opportunity business meeting. Go home and do some research on the company themselves to make sure that they are sound. One great place to start is to see if the have any complaints filed with the Federal Trade Commissions.
3) Steer as far away from the “start up” companies as possible. If the company has a good opportunity when it first starts out. The opportunity will be even better after 4-5 years once they are out of the infancy stage. This is also the best time to catch the momentum wave of growth.
If you follow the three steps that I have outlined for you above, you will save yourself from some trails that are simply not necessary.
